Espresso Martini
Spirit-Based · 1 serving · Serve: Martini glass

Created in the 1980s by London bartender Dick Bradsell, this iconic drink has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in recent years. The combination of caffeine and alcohol makes it the perfect pick-me-up for a night out or an after-dinner treat. The traditional garnish of three coffee beans represents health, wealth, and happiness.

Variations/Adaptations
Vanilla Espresso Martini: Add a few drops of vanilla extract or use vanilla-infused vodka.
Chocolate Espresso Martini: Add a small amount of chocolate liqueur or a dash of chocolate bitters.
Iced Espresso Martini: Serve over ice in a rocks glass for a more refreshing version.
Notes/Tips
The three coffee beans traditionally used to garnish an Espresso Martini represent health, wealth, and happiness.
For the best results, use freshly brewed espresso that has cooled slightly rather than hot espresso, which can melt the ice too quickly and dilute the drink.
If you don't have an espresso machine, you can use strong cold brew coffee concentrate as a substitute.
