Aperitivo & Wine
Lillet Blanc with Frozen Orange Slice
Wine-Based · 1 serving · Serve: Wine glass
This elegant and simple aperitif features Lillet Blanc, a French aromatized wine, served extra cold with a frozen orange slice that acts as both a beautiful garnish and a natural ice cube. The frozen orange slowly melts into the Lillet, gradually releasing its citrus oils and flavors while keeping the drink perfectly chilled without dilution. This refreshing drink gained popularity on social media for its simplicity and visual appeal, making it perfect for warm weather gatherings or as a sophisticated pre-dinner drink.

Notes/Tips
The thicker you slice the orange, the longer it'll stay frozen in your drink and the less it will affect the flavor of the Lillet.
Chilling the Lillet Blanc mellows out some of the sweetness and allows more of the floral, citrusy notes to shine through.
As the orange slice thaws, it will gradually infuse the drink with citrus flavor, creating an evolving tasting experience.
